I would like to see a secondary core block that could be attached to a ship in a new location where you would really like the core to be. Once dropped, a player could remove the old core, leaving the new block as the core.

Guess its just a matter of opinion..and I respect yours....however, most servers seem to have factions turned on and the creative types that make very cool structures probably want them to be seen by others. Also, why chase part of your userbase away. People that are not into PVP and attacking...
Not everyone wants to join a faction, some want to enjoy the game on their own. Perhaps enjoying the more creative or even social aspects of the game. My opinion is all factions (Even one person factions) should get one invulnerable station...UNTIL they destroy any player owned major...
This is a very compelling feature request. IMO the best games allow for character development and in game "career" paths. Right now the economy and merchant/trader system is VERY undeveloped. A great economy in-game is very rare, but adds SO much to a game.
