      You know I have wondered, why don't you reduce the mass and hp of basic armor, since it's useless for defense anyway? Might as well be useless and lightweight

      Building chambers slightly oversized has an advantage there in that they don't go offline from just a little stray damage. I also like to protect them with a little armor layer around them. I'd love.to have location specific shielding but making multiple small bubbles leaves your shields...

      Since I totally don't remember, did that issue with the ai accuracy/difficulty setting getting overwritten with the default every time you start a server ever get fixed, or is it still lurking?

      Good thoughts, all of them. Can't think of much to add right now, and you're right an approval rating or happiness is almost necessary in any city/colony simulation. You're right counting decorations would be difficult, as much so as defining living/work spaces in general. It will totally look...
