Waypoints and return logic would be good.
Also somekind of system so the AI ships sends help requests via ingame notice system (faction) so you see where they are and can jump to help out if needed. ( or go and repair )
Weapons Testing (steam link)
The Faction block is in the "fortress" tower section , i always shoot a big missile that takes out the whole tower = done.
Solution to 100% safe trading could be as follows, (so its not 100% safe and fool proof).
Players can not buy stuff from shops or trade stations directly, all bought items would go from shop/trade station to => storage containers => storage containers could be only unloaded to a starbase or...
It is already done 100%
I am waiting for an admin to spawn the ship and tell me the stats, so i can post them here. (hardly any know how how to do it in single player).
Shielding is around 12 000 000 million and shield regen is 1 500 000 million ~~soso if i remember it correctly.

MIN <-> MAX , maximum difference 5% , item availability 1-5% difference
fixed.
Shops and Trade station prices are hardcoded to one specific % , changing it to same ranges +-5% is not hard, it takes 10 minutes.
Also, i glanced thru the forums, and did not find direct talk about the economy being BROKEN.
i am posting this thread so its a known issue, and not just disregarded.
And yes, this problem is game breaking issue.
Also this generates the problem that new players will be discouraged to play the game due to people abusing the market side of the game to get a titan in one day of gaming.
As long as this is in game as a problem : Broken Economy
It does not matter what prices we have, unless they are identical in every shop and trade station with 1-5% variation in them +-3% on availability.
Thats actually false. The amounts only reflect 1-3% price change, when the shops themselves have normal to +300% fixed hard coded price ranges.
Every shop and Trade station has a FIXED price in them
Meaning even if a shop or trade station has the same amount of items in them, the price is not...
