Oh! OH! How about a Readout block? Has a projected screen like the Display block, but can be set to show a minimap, power levels, shield levels, weapon cooldowns, etc, as visually updating graphics?

It's a hypercube, a 4th dimensional geometric figure, since it contains an X, a Y, and a Z, and yet all axes are looped at their "maximums," allowing for a 4th dimension of movement.

A viable adaptation. I'm for it. Maintains the crippling effect of losing a coolant system as well as the benefit of installing one, and doesn't require a major function change in reactors other than adding a computer. Bravo!
