Before I start apologies if it seems jumbled up or doesn't make sense at first, I have difficulty phrasing my ideas.
Alright so I have noticed a lot of people want the main ships shields to work on turrets and docked ships. I have come up with an idea to make that possible without it being too overpowered by increasing the amount of blocks you need on your main ship.
My idea adds 2 new computers and 2 new modules. These being a Shield capacity transfer computer/module Shield recharge computer/module. The way this works is you slave the 2 computers with the Turret Docking Unit, or Docking Module. Then for each of the 2 different modules you place a certain amount of shield capacity/recharge is given to the turret/ship docked on that particular module.
Now to make it not too overpowered you could have it so say 4 shield capacity transfer modules give the capacity of just 1 shield capacitor. Then the same with the recharge or an even higher ratio to make recharge require more blocks and can prevent impenetrable turret shields.
If this was used on a turret or ship that already had its own shields then the main ships shields that has been transferred would be used up first then the next lot of damage or any damage still left over would hit the ship/turrets own shields.
