    (if you can pm me an algos file that I can binvox, I would love it! I don't play eve anymore though, so I can't get it directly from the game. I am working on a Kol from SoaSE right now, but I will probably get to it in a month or so)

    Oh, is it possible to have the rookie ship set up with a salvage beam (mining laser) a point defense gun set to anti-missile, and a main gun? Then it would be the ultimate default starting ship :p

    EDIT: Upon investigating the ship to add turrets myself, I found a curious amount of open space inside of the ship, illuminated with strange colored lights. Plenty of room to improve!

    I've got a major shift planned for the developement of these ships. I will be focusing on Minmatar over the course of the next few weeks. You will see why in a video. I will post it here.

    Wow the game has changed over a year *whistle*

    I liked the Talos battlecruiser and the Algos destroyer so much, they just looked so good! I specialized in both destroyer and battlecruiser before I left.

    I'm really looking forward to your Rifter now that you're concentrating on Minmatar; and the stealth bombers when you get around to them someday. Especially the Nemesis.

    I'm really looking forward to your Rifter now that you're concentrating on Minmatar; and the stealth bombers when you get around to them someday. Especially the Nemesis.
    I'm hoping stealth modules will actually work at that point.

    I love the Velator and the Sisters ship designs you have! I completely refit the Velator on the EE server, giving it tones of energy and energy regen, modest shields (not enough for facing pirates 3x its size though!), 8 salvaging beams arranging in 2 blisters of 4, and an inadequate beam weapon. The refit took forever (over 5 hours), finding holes in the ship everywhere was a pain, and even needed to change a tad of the interior to fit the power coils from port to starboard.

    The piercing damage from the pirates ravaged the interior and systems, too bad I didn't think to take a picture of them then :/


    I have also started refitting your Sisters of Eve ship, and after deciding I didn't like the interior, I scrapped all of it and left only the shell. And even then I am expanding it to fit a docking port inside of it (main complaint is that docking port areas are too big! That drone bay in the Velator is perfect, but the docking module is too darn big!) and have those tube sections on top be a turret and an airlock for the ship. Might extend the back a bit farther, and change the front up a bit to make it not look like a sheep.





    As you can see, the docking port takes up a TON of room! I needed to knock out my previous roof and raise it, and also extend the bay doors back two blocks! I might just need to elongate the back half of the ship to incorporate engineering, and modules. Not sure what to do about the drone bay up front, looks out of place and useless. Might make it into a doorway or something, or break out the force fields...
    Will make the ring into a thruster ring with engines studding it, got a cool design in my head.

    Thanks for the cool ships, always fun to poke around inside of them and see what makes them tick, and what I can do to improve them! I know you base all their stats off of one ship, but I wanted something that also could preform against EE's MONSTROUS pirates after being raided 4 times. Was thinking about working on Dragoon, but I thought something smaller first would be smarter. Plus, the Dragoon is too big for my computer to run at a smooth 45 fps, it drops down to 20 when looking at it. (was 12 before .18999).
    Besides, I thought I would just wait until the Algos came out, as I have an affinity for Gallantian designs. :)

    Glad to see you are enjoying them! Next time can you put the pictures in a spoiler? Theres a ton of them to scroll through.

    I did some modifications on the ships, too.

    Gangstamaar Impairor:

    I repainted the ship, added a spoiler, changed lights, filled in the rest of the space with more shields, added weapons.

    (yes, that's a jacuzzi right there)

    Also, a modified Acolyte. I made it just a bit more curvy, the stats and mass are exactly the same:

    I've released the first set of modules for my ships. Light Missile Launchers feature a missile / damage pulse combination. There are different ratios depending on the variant of the launcher you choose. I am not sure if it is actually more expensive to use the more advanced variants. Nonetheless the option is there. In the future ships will be released with appropriate module variants. Tech 1 frigates will get a tech 1 version of their recommended modules, while a Navy frigate might get the navy variants. Players will need to download additional weapon racks to get every variant of the module.

    Well, that sisters of eve ship "refit" has really come a long ways! Can hardly recognize it now. I am thinking about making a little shrine in the rear of the ship dedicated to you Vanhelsing, what do you want inside of it? What text, if anything? Or should I just say: "Dis Guy is a Gud Guy".

    I would say that the project is around 60% complete. I want to redo the rear engines, and still need to make the engineering room/fill out the interior with systems.
    I am thinking about adding some kind of larger turret to the bottom and top, it would need to be a really flat design to avoid conflicting the shape of the craft.

    This is the largest thing that I have made in the game so far, besides stations, and I am enjoying in immensely!

    I can't wait for your next ship.

    Thadius had a server going but I haven't heard from him in a while. I plan on working with Starside to see if there is a way we can incorporate an eve galaxy.
