So I got bored and now I'm making a discussion thread. I will try to post a new topic every time the thread needs one.

Topic 1- What is a possible doomsday scenario for the current factions?

For the Lazarus, the only plausible doomsday scenario would be @MrNature72 getting permabanned from the entirety of StarMade. Except for that, the Lazarus basically will survive almost anything.

For the Tartaran Empire it would be for kiwi, Chevalleis, Incap, and Dolovo leaving.
If they leave and every last member leave then I will too.
That is most likely how the TE would end.

I'd say that stagnation is the most likely culprit, but that's probably not going to be true for too long. Other than that... Well, nothing specific comes to mind. A big population boom could change things enough that the post-boom factions couldn't be recognized, but with how folks are set up I'd imagine that if they felt the faction slipping from it's roots they could easily enough cleanse it.
As long as the people stay, I think the factions stay.

Well for the CR, it is when cird , and Kam comes back out of no where with a faction twice the size of ours, with a tribe in their faction name. They basically come and destroy us with much larger ships than us.

The lack of assets, lack of agression and lack of a justified reason would all make such a scenario unfeasible.
The Amarr ships are just too sexy to destroy.. I'd much rather take a look inside'n polish up systems'n interiors.

Bad luck, inactive members, spies, leadership disasters and.... total and complete stupidity.

Usually a combination of both, or.... biased admins if faction is not forum based.

We all can agree, that a faction is dead if all active members leave/go inactive, OR someone with sufficient power disbands it, and noone with more power nullifies that statement, right?
