    Holy crap, the planets are round. sorta.
    I decided to give Starmade another go. GREAT GAME!

    The following will be suggestions :)


    Suggestions:
    1) I really suggest that Pilot Seat. In the very beginning you start out with the core as your camera. It then gets covered instantly so you're safe. It would make it a lot safer if you had the controlling mechanism be the "Pilot Seat".
    2) More apparent effects ( Make them more noticeable and compatible ) I would love to see piercing missiles ;) [They go through and explode in the middle or something]
    3) Search bar in the shop!
    4) A sound for the damage beam.
    5) More sounds in general.
    6) Maybe have speed acceleration slow down when approaching the max speed. Dynamic Speed

    I looked into what was added a bit more.

    Playing with my friends I ended up having to travel for a while to get to a new shop since the trading guild wasn't restocking our shop!

    Instead of that, he should add a few things to the game's server config.

    STOCK_REGEN = true //Enables shops stock regeneration.
    STOCK_REGEN_AMOUNT = 60 //How many units will be added to random stocks every minute.


    Or just make the trading guild have ships around shops within the sector at all times.
    So then he can program them to restock it.
    Or they patrol around 1 sector away from the shop and occasionally drop off items!

    MORE SUGGESTIONS

    I also suggest adding more dynamic enemies... Like communications. You have a communications computer so you can talk to AI. Almost in the form of FTL. They may start off angry but you can bribe them into attacking a sector, shop, players, and or planets. You could also bribe them into mining for you, trade with them... etc!
    Communication Modules can increase the range from which you can speak to a pirate.
    This can also have a change in a server config so you can disable global chat and local. The only way to talk to online players could be through having a computer!
    I would love some more threats too! I find the game to get boring very fast when playing with a friend or 2. We end up making our own enemies and get bored of that too.
    He could add something like a nebula from FTL. Add storms that contain massive fog in areas. Maybe a black hole somewhere? Very rare and will pull you in if you get too close?
    Still suggest a Mothership that sends out fleets when you approach.
    It is something that people would love.

    1- I think everyone wants some kind of pilot seat. Whether or not the soon to be implemented sitting animation means we're only going to sit on blocks or we'll get special chairs to sit in has yet to be elaborated on. I'm betting the former.

    2- We already can tune them with additional secondary and effects in ratios. The replacement is better for the variety and mechanics. Some weapons fill their niches well, and I feel like the way they're balanced now is approaching a good level. Still needs more work but it has come a long way since initial implementation.

    3- Some missile combos have this already.

    4- Maybe we will. The effects aren't set in stone completely since the way pierce/punch through work was apparently tweaked recently.

    5- Would be nice, but the tree hierarchy getting reorganized recently makes finding anything very easy.

    6- More sounds for everything would be nice. Especially the damage beam. Once the sounds are linked to the actual game, replacing them would be incredibly easy too. (I already do this with the ambient music)

    8- the way thrust works is going to be changed some day. Apparently directional differences and max speed differences per ship will vary depending on how things are setup (?). With the Universe update coming, we haven't heard much about the way thrust will be handled in the future.

    Ambient music is what the game needs. Your stuff is on the right track Bandi. Better suited than most who post their suggested tracks here. If the game is to have any music at all, it needs to be atmospheric and ambient. Not too overbearing. Little percussion. Lots of synths and pads. Orchestral stuff too, if it can be accomplished. Too many people think the music needs to be loud and dancey. Nope. Take a good look at Minecraft's music. That's what would work well, in my honest opinion.

    I've thought of trying my hand at it, but I've been busy at other things.

    As for SFX, I do know some things. But can't say anything. They should be coming in the future though. Maybe. Hopefully. Great suggestions all around.

    Yeah! I can barely hear it with my speaker volume turned all the way up. It's quieter than everything else on your Soundcloud, and quieter than songs from other games in general.

    Homing combos for missiles are missile-missile, and missile-beam. Though, they work on different types of homing (heat-seeking and lock-on). Rapid fire cannons are cannon-cannon. Speed and damage per shot can be "tweaked" by varying the ratio of primary/secondary system. This applies to all weapon combos and tertiary systems too. Check the sticky in General Discussions for more info on the system.

    There is a spider like NPC's you can vs. they are weak, but in a group they could kill you easy. What I want is a NPC that attaches to your ship and drains your ships energy and shield. A communication block would be good and the ability to change frequencies. Starmade does need more sound. Chairs are going to be added soon. (Something unrelated beams should be able to go up to 200% for secondary on pulsars)

    3) A homing effect

    Sounds amazing! I noticed that spider... It scared the hell out of me! But then I screamed in happiness because of it. lol.
    Let's come up with some art work of that Drain Monster ;)

    Do some organized stats and stuff... That would be cool.

    Doesn't really sound like "space" to me. I think something more ambient, with less choppy melodies would work better (it worked in "Starmade Cruising 5" best, but nowhere else imo). It would also help if you varied the synths used a bit, it was rather redundant. Also try working on some different moods, some track can be peaceful, some threatening, etc. So far all the songs you made are all in the same style, right down to the instruments.

    Starmade Cruising 5 is the newest one after like 4 to 5 months :)
    So there should be a difference haha. I will see about adding more noise and alot more blended :)

    As for your shop auto-restocking: It should only take the amount of a block up to about half of the shop's max, so that way you could always sell stuff. If someone fills it up above halfway, it "destocks" instead
