Changed my mind and decided to do a speed build for the competition. Not my prettiest ship but it turned out well for 20 minutes and the size constraint.

This was the most shiplike looking thing I could build that fit in a 7x7x7. It's classified as a microfighter as it has no bobby AI, and it hasn't been updated for .15 standards yet.

Why does everyone assume that they HAVE to be 7x7x7? There are larger classes!

The Class I results are in (sans Hummingbird, sorry Sven)!
The much-vaunted missile box had mediocre results. Both the Mif-7 and MechII proved adept at outrunning/dodging the missiles. Their match ups were somewhat more even, however.

The MechII's weapons, being somewhat easier to aim that those of the Mif, gave it a slight edge in my hands that was enough to push it over the top and into first place.

I know, I know, I would be more creative if the class limit been mass instead of box dimensions. I don't really like cubes, I'm just making the most from what's given to me. And until something changes I'll just continue building my doom cube series.
