With the lagfest & intermittent teleportation that is the current combat reality of Starmade, wouldn't be surprised if it just appeared that way to their attackers.

If you're gonna do combat you need big sectors. 10,000 is fantastic for it, but makes moving around for non-combat reasons a pain. Once FTL is implemented that'll be less of an issue, I think.

Man, it's bad even in a high powered server like Elwyn that has large sectors. Or uh, is it just me?

It's not really that bad, especially considering that the server survived the onslaught.

If you're really concerned about lag just unleash some skoomseekers. That should..... slow things down a little and help the server catch up

There wasent really much lag on the server's end, besides teleporting out of collisions the server never froze or anything like that. FPS issues are a whole different story as it depends on the user's computer. I was able to run the entire battle at 30+ FPS. So no, the lag was not at all as bad as most people think it is.

But we are going to have another battle at some point
with more fair numbers this time.

I'd love to see you try to attempt what your other members failed miserably at, hell after the battle we all had doubts if the TE ships even attempted to fire back. But of course we will settle all these disputes in battle instead of crying like babies on the forums.
