Thrust God Mode Command?

So is there an admin command to provide the ability to move a ship around without thrusters?

Specifically I'm building a medium sized ship and I need to move it, and I really don't want to add enough thrusters temporarily just to make it move (because thats a lot of temporary thrusters). I still need to move it out of the way of other things now that its getting bigger though.

Don't think there is a command for that.

However, you can jump into Flight Mode, open the galactic map, select a sector you want to move to, then use Admin Warp command. No need for thrust modules for that.

Granted, that will only be of use if you are going to move to to another sector. If you just need to move, say, 500m, then you may have to go with some temp thrust modules.

Are you using the default build mode settings? I always change mine so I can place block I'm 100m lines. I'm assuming you're in creative right? Just lay down a big 50x50x50 block of power and thrust, move it, then hit undo twice!

Yes there is a command for that. But only when you move it from sector to sector.

You enter the ship and then the admin teleports you to the new sector. Because you are in the ship it comes along as well. You can also do this with Stations when you are in a Build Block.

It is not a god command. The Admin uses this:

tp

• DESCRIPTION: warp a player to your position
• PARAMETERS: PlayerName(String)
• EXAMPLE: /tp schema

The Admin goes to the sector of your choice and then tps you to him.

For movement within the sector it self:

Just lay down a big 50x50x50 block of power and thrust, move it, then hit undo twice!

Yeah, was looking for something that could be used in single player, and teleporting is too sloppy.

The /teleport_selected_to command is really your only choice besides adding big bricks of temporary thrusters. It's actually quite precice if you use it correctly. Just initially center it in sector by doing /teleport_selected_to 0 0 0 . Do this several times until it has "settled" in a permanent spot. From there, begin altering the values in each axis until you get it where you want within the sector.
