New patch

I have downloaded the new patch v0.159 and the first part of the launcher is working but not the second, what is happening!!!!

I redownloaded starmade 1.6 and it still doesn't work, I am trying to finish the station for the contest but I can't I also re-downloaded Java 64bit java 8

Try running the game without the launcher.
Open a terminal and cd into your StarMade folder, then run "java -Xmn512M -Xms1024M -Xmx4096M -Xincgc -jar StarMade.jar -force -port:4242"

Sounds like the same problem as listed here.

Depending on your Os you might need to get the 64-bit version of java.
Details on how are in the linked thread if you want to try that.

Do not double post. It's not going to get anyone to look at your issue any faster if you keep bumping it either.

I know that its annoying but I have nothing to do and I want to get my station finished in time. so excuse me if I am double posting and grumpy but I haven't got an answer that has worked yet and you should be happy that I get grumpy cause I can't play starmade.

ok just so you know i also have mac os x mavericks on a laptop and the game runs fine, so if you need any information about my settings etc just ask

aceface DUDE, post your setup bro. If it doesn't help this one it might help others. Make a new thread "How I got this awesomest game ever to run on OS X Mav" or something. Make it nice and clean looking, real pro like, and I'll sticky it in support.

I meant like your drivers and cfg files. Your whole starmade folder isn't such a good idea.

hmm...I don't install drivers, apple does it for me.
