    Fairly simple suggestion but i think it would prove very useful;
    Doors can be triggered manually no matter what, provided you have the permissions because of this one way doors are merely impossible unless you're using rail blocks to achieve this.
    the idea of this was taken from another space game (starbound) where doors if connected to logic blocks cannot be triggered by hands, it also serves as an RP aspect as you can't just simply walk up to a big steel/whatever material door and just push it so it opens, you'd have to have some sort of button or remote acess for it to open, this wouldn't be a game changing addition as doors would operate as normal if they weren't connected to anything.
    sorry if this is a similar post to others as i dont spend too much time reading the forums

    Doors could have a proximity trigger function.
    On while you are next to them or inside them.
    The bigger they are, the further away they might detect a larger entity.

    Area triggers work, but they are very complicated to setup especially for smaller doors.
    you need at least 2 area triggers, 1 controller, 1 activation, 1 or, 2 delays and a or block. + 2 more area triggers + 1 controller on the other side.

    But unfortunately that doesn't allow for permission-checks.

    You disable manual opening for floor-doors with an area-trigger (or a plant) in front of them.
