Cant connect to servers

I've tried to connect to many servers and I cant connect to any. I have the right ip and port and it begins to connect then gets to the final step and freezes at, Connecting to: (Server IP)

I re-installed star-made and now I get this error
unknown host exception: registry.star-made.org
Then my game crashes.

Can anyone help?

The only thing I can think of is that this is was a temporary issue. Maybe also try restarting your computer?

Also, post a screenshot of your connection screen (where it displays your name, settings, and server IP, and whatnot).

I can't see anything from those, they are tiny screenshots. Kinda wanted to see the server IP you're entering. Looks like you're failing authentication from starmade.org?

That was single player, neither of them work, I tried uninstalling multiple times, and i get different errors every time.

Open up CMD
type
ipconfig /flushdns (this clears the dns cache)
computer restart (maybe required)

You may be running through a proxy
run a malware scan if this is not default
goto control panel
search for proxy
make sure that the settings are set to automatic (this is default)

The Advance way to fix if all else fails.

if this fails you may have to change your dns server to another public dns provider (I.E Google DNS this is experimental apparently)
then repeat cmd -> ipconfig /flushdns -> computer restart

When ever i click start game on the news/update window a menu will open up and say,
Critical Error

UnknownHostException: files.star-made.org
to get information about a possible fix, please search for your error in the starmade forums or make a new topic if not found."

I'm not sure what any of this means it is all jibberish to me.
can someone please help?

This should state you cannot connect to the files.star-made.org server.
Check for connection problems, and try again.

When it does show a page, you should not get this message, unless you blocked starmade to dialout somehow (by firewall or similar).
