Right now you can give your weapon any color given that there is a light block with that specific color.
But when I saw that schema also added weapon effects, it kinda made me wonder:
Wouldn't it be much cooler if the weapon effect would influence the projectile's color depending on the % of it being applied instead of having light blocks influence it?
This would have two effects:
-People will probably dislike the idea because of this, but it will "take away" projectile color "customization", as projectile color will fully depend on the effect you apply to it.
-Projectile color can possibly give tactical information to some extent: you can determine what kind of effect the enemy is using by looking at the color of their projectiles.
I personally think that it would be much more logical if weapon color depended on the effects, adding too much unconstrained customization to the game will make it meaningless.
But you can sort of imagine the colors already:
-Push could be purple
-Extra shield damage could be blue
-Piercing could be red
-etc etc
