Bug Pirates do not drop loot if killed by AI turret...

    So, I can't get pirates to drop any loot unless I overheat them with a player triggered weapon or a weapon that is not in AI control. A logic based timer weapon ( heat seeking missiles) will let them drop loot, but an AI controlled cannon/cannon turret will not drop.

    i am guessing that this is so that you don't get loot from when pirate and trading gild kill each other

    Hm, missiles are at least known to be able to destroy the loot.

    T379: Removing containers places there content in an offset position
    T196: Blocks dropped on death do not spawn properly

    T196 was fixed, possibly T370 applies here too, and the items are showing up somewhere else, may be a problem, however, got to try that.

    Created a report about this in our tracker.

    T414: Loot is not generated when the entity is destroyed by an AI/Turret
