Back to turret building! :D

Inspired by the Thryn Waffen turret I seen before, I decided to make a BFG of my own. :p

Currently 930m long, might reach 980m with the elevation mechanism done. Then I will need to design a decent looking turret as well :p (It is just the gun)

Apparently the turret I built cannot be used for GenX Nova server, which is a shame.

Though I can still use it on Shattered Skies. :D

Maybe I should built a smaller one for GenX, given that ships are smaller there as well. 500m long turrets rather than 1000m long ones should work... :D

I will just make the barrel and a small circle as horizontal dock, thus putting maximum mass/ Block on gun itself. I might even omitt the grey hull barrel and just do bare systems.

I normally put a bulkier turret housing to decorate it, but situation requires me to cut mass down as much as possible. xD

Rather, I will have the turret "sink" into the base, like that "disappearing gun" concept. Maybe it will look better with less blocks used.

Started derping around on GenX Nova and I have to say... I am having tons of fun.

My overall goal currently as "Potato Brigade" leader will be to spawn in a larger ship and hopefully get into some battles. Whole thing about itching trigger finger and stuff :p

Hey I'm back after a couple of months of inactivity, sorry for the sudden disappearance, had some stuff to take care of and had to put games on the back burner.

Visited the Thryn Homebase earlier on GenX Nova, it was looking awesome. :D

Was unfortunate that Jaas couldn't log on due to a server bug, but talking through the server chat/ internet chat console was nice and helped entertain me as I warped 4000km. :p

With the help of the faction "The Singularity", I have obtained my first Purifier class Corvette. The help was in the form of a convenient non docked miner containing 1000-50000+ of each effect computer and module, at least 4 million of each type of capsule (With one of the capsule "stack" being around 9 million), numerous factory blocks and other stuff such as random hull, glass, door and all. The sale of less than 20% of the "gifts" have allowed me to purchase most of the blocks required for the corvette. The torch I bought have already earned itself back at least 9999999 times.

THEN I realized.....

SCHEMA INCREASED POWER USAGE OF MISSILES AGAIN!! xD

And thus I am now trying to refit the ship to actually be able to do what it is supposed to do.... you know... fire missiles and shit.

Although I wanted to visit the NFD base, it was actually off limits, possibly due to sensitive military hardware and possible cache of stolen potatoes which we seek to reclaim (I am joking about potatoes) (Read as: Hostile to Neutral)
