Sorry I haven't been on recently btw, a combination of admin duty, faction politics and just not being able to get on the server have kept me away... I'll try again later though and see if I can get on this time.

I can't enter for some reason, error says:
DisconnectException: You have been disconnected from the Server
(either connection problem or server crash)
ActualException: EOFException

I see this quite a lot, does anyone know how to fix this?

Server should be restarted. Sometimes it will crash, but does not crash all the time. Gets stuck in a weird frozen state where no one can do anything (i.e. login) unless it resets.

I'll be spending today trying to find a way to have the server restart itself when it enters that state.

I still have contact to SkullCollector via Steam, but if you're looking for files from the SATURN server you'll be disappointed. They are all gone

I know the OP said said that Saturn members just need to post their IGN to get whitelisted, but as someone who was never on Saturn, I dont know who was there and who is just being lazy with their apps.

You'd have to look into game support or ask around in chat. Course, there is 11 people on the server atm, might be a bit more than it can handle (I've noticed issues in the past about servers derping with high enough player count relative to specs).

NFD is currently down and is unable to be rebooted. It appears there is some technical problems with the server host and it is unknown how long it will take to bring it back up.

Apologies to the rest of the players who use NFD, but the server will be unavailable for a little bit.

Server Status is unknown, according to the admin panel. Creeper's out of town so he can't submit a ticket, and I'm hearing that PingPerfect itself is having issues that they're working on fixing. This sort of error that couldn't be fixed by a simple restart has only happened once before, and it was resolved within a few hours. I'll keep you guys posted and will inform you when the server is back up.

Yes I was a SATURN member. We built our beautiful new corporate headquarters there. I saved it but it didn't download to my computer. I'm unhappy that it's un-retrievable. It will take a lot of work and talent to recreate.

PS: Please keep us up to date on the status of the server. There aren't too many good build servers still out there now.

As of this time, the NFD server is back online. This wouldn't have gotten rid of the server files even if something catastrophic happened, as we keep the universe backed up as well as the fact that the files themselves were still accessible from the admin panel if we needed to use or download them.

EDIT: Scratch that, the server is still unresponsive. Paraphrasing Rimmer here, the data center staff has their collective heads up their asses and told PingPerfect the issue was resolved. Evidently, this is not the case.
