Vanguard-class Destroyer (formerly known as Warpath-class)

    Vanguard-class Destroyer (formerly known as Warpath-class) Mk1

    - Renamed ship to reflect the new utility role (it is no longer a dedicated warship)
    - Updated weapon and reactor/chamber setup on both main weapons and turrets
    - All guided missiles now have 100% Beam support for faster lock
    - Main weapon switched to missile/beam for better accuracy (and flashy beams)
    - Chamber setup: installed base power boost
    - New point defense turrets, to hopefully better handle the new missile shield system
    - Astrotech beam array installed within the gaps of the salvager waffle
    - Installed tractor beam to replace the defunct stop effect
    - Thrust/mass improved to 1.5
    - Minor cosmetic update
    - Reworked power system to new power and stabiliser patch
    - Added an extra medium-range lock-on missile identical to the already existing 3rd (4 high-yield explosive missiles, 1% damage beam slave)
    - Default Chamber setup:
    Recon Base, scanner strength(4), Scanner duration (Permanent)
    Jump Base, Jump distance(2), Jump powerefficiency(2)
    - Huge shield boost: 12 million with 69520 recharge/sec
    - Interior improvements: expanded med bay, quarters, mess hall and briefing room.
    - Placed missing standard armor blocks on exterior
    - Reduced number of AMS turrets from 20 to 12 to reduce collision calculations, replaced the remaining with Gmodism 's Banisher Compaq turrets as they have proven to be more effective than mine.
    - Minor change in the room in front of the core room
    - New (old) chaindrive by Jaaskinal
    - 6 Gopher mining drones added on bottom ports with load rails
    - Little Bird shuttle re-added to hangar (basic hull, small cargo bay, jammer, jump drive, minimal shielding)
    - Interior cosmetics added (maintenance hatches etc.)
    - Reworked elevator between deck 4 and 3
    - Added 6 drone docks, inventory pull, and release system tied to inner remote. 6 mining drones included.
    - Minor cosmetic update (added some blue to look friendlier)
    - Minor engine rework to work with new thruster plumes
    - Switched main jump drive to chain drive
    - Buffed shields to 2,750 million
    - Installed 60% Ion effect for shield
    - Main cannon switched to cannon/cannon/punch-through 8x2000 damage/shot (to oneshot advanced armor)
    - Minor cosmetic changes on exterior and interior (utilising the new non-cubic blocks)
    - Created cargo space in storage room and hangar
    - Updated stats (see stats in main post)
    - Switched main cannon to a faster fire rate and partial overdrive
    - Tweaked power reserves to allow for more thrusters to be installed
    - Minor cosmetic changes on the front
    - Fixed docked power injectors not activating correctly.
    - Moved front side anti-missile turrets and reworked airlock to be USD compatible
    - Reworked main cannon for better power efficiency, penetration and fire rate
    - Added 4 Graviton turrets (cannon/cannon/stop) on the frontal yellow turret docks
    - Reworked main cannon turrets for better damage and penetration (cannon/cannon/punch)
    - Added fans to interior
    - Automatic sorting storage system reworked

    BUT THE MAIN THING IS:
    - Removed front-firing missile launcher
    - Added 4 docked power cores with 400K power/second supply, operated by wireless logic with inner ship remote or from core room manually
    - Docked reactors can be extended and retracted individually via logic for maintenance.

    Ship can now fly at full throttle OR charge main jump drive OR fire main weapons with jammer on power-stable. Without jammer, firing weapons while at full throttle and turret firing, will be power stable.
    - Changed main autocannon back to punch-through effect - Explosive testing proved laggy and inefficient penetration.
    - Changed all cannon turrets to cannon/cannon(50%)/Overdrive for vastly increased mid and close range damage, at the cost of power consumption increase.
    - Minor cosmetic change on front-mid section to accomodate new cannon turrets.
    Changelog:
    - Changed punch-through effect to Explosive on main autocannon (better resource efficiency: punch-through requires the valuable rammet and sertise you need for shield capacitators too)
    - Changed cannon to beam on stopper array (to beam/cannon/stop from cannon/cannon/stop)
    - Main long-range missile launchers reduced to 12 missiles/array from 14
    - front-firing missile groups rearranged for better power efficiency
    - Shield capacity increased to 2.5 million
    - Minor increase to shield recharge
    - Interior detailing
    - Display modules placed for better onboard navigation and roleplaying.
    - Added Little Bird shuttle (civilian version, no armored hull) to hangar bay
    - Minor cosmetic changes on the point defense turret platforms on the ship's hull

    Overall, the missiles have a much better power efficiency, which allows for a more consistant stream of missiles onto the target with less waiting for power regen. Less is sometimes more indeed.
