The Type-99 is a support ship meant to be undocked from a mothership to attempt to get players safely into the enemy ship. It can carry 2 soldiers inside the ship and has a 'balcony' for firing grapple beams.
To use effectively, have both boarders inside the Type-99 and do a close flyby underneath the target ship, preferably while turrets and main guns are distracted. Then tell the crew to unalign from the type-99's balcony and quickly fire grapple beams and move to the enemy ship. The Type-99 can then redock to the station or mothership and pick up more boarders if need be. Remember torches.
The ship itself has two pulse missiles which did 12,000 damage last I checked and quad explosive machine guns which deal 255-226 damage.
The wings double as anti missile turrets.
