The AliSTAR ferry is a mass produced speed ferry. It is operated from a simple cockpit near amidships and on the dorsal line. Its two docking ports are covered by the stubby, folding wings. It is capable of atmospheric flight and planetary touchdown. Unloading luggage in gravity is no sweat for the AliSTAR's crew, as it possesses a folding cargo ramp/door.
The AliSTAR has 15000 shields which recharge at around 825 per second. Due to budgetary restraints it lacks a proficient reactor and generates only enough energy for its jumpdrive and thrusters. It has about a 2.2 thrust to weight ratio and 50% overdrive.
