Summary:
The Colonial Guard recognizing a need to update their fleet began assessing both replacement craft and refits for their existing vessels. During the process it was decided that the bulkier original shuttle design would be refitted and be used for utility purposes while the role of passenger transportation would be left to a new design.
Summary:
This refit visually improves upon the original shuttle that can still be found docked to older models of the Turion's Warrior Frigate and strips the passenger seats, replacing them with salvage arrays and also up-armors the cockpit for salvage and recovery missions.
