The Colonial Guard mainline battle tank is a model that's been in deployment for nearly twenty five years. It serves as the backbone of their armored divisions with it's large dual cannons it smashes it's way through lines while other vehicles follow through the carnage.

With the introduction of new era technology the MBT went through an overhaul allowing it to fire a vast variety of round sizes up to class 15 ordinance and also was outfitted with new repulsor lift technology to negate the affects of abnormally higher gravity on various worlds. Another upgrade includes improved armoring of the turret and it's housing.
