TEC Stilat Corvette

    Ship design based on the TEC Rebel faction from Sins of a Solar Empire. Remodeled by Widgecian Systems (ZWS).

    So I used to play a lot of SoaSE and always enjoyed the ship designs (particularly since you can zoom in on the models). The TEC in particular have several ship designs that I feel would translate well into the block-based building system of StarMade. This submission is my attempt at eye-balling the in-game models and recreating the outer shape as near as I could. I am a novice to StarMade, so my shipwright skills are sub-par, to say the least, but this is the first ship I have built with any definite direction.
    In my attempt at building this ship I found myself limited by my understanding and skill with the building system, so I intend to revise this page over time.

    The TEC Stilat Corvette's primary role in SoaSE is for harassment and disabling of enemy defensive systems. They are intended to be massed and aimed at larger ship classes.
    • Dual Auto-AMC system with a 1:1 ratio of Cannon/Cannon. I have an Ion FX module at 66.7% for chewing down shields, but allowing for some basic hull damage.
    • Dual Heat-seeking Missile system at a ratio of 1:1 Missile/Missile. This also includes an Ion FX module at 74.66% for dropping shields and allowing minor hull damage.
    • Radar Jammer to reduce incoming fire and prolong life.
    • Scanner System with an antenna of 52 blocks for seeking out enemy crafts.
    • Jump Drive system for long range deployment or escape. Charges in ~20 seconds.
    • Four turret hardpoints: 1 on each side (I have zero skill with turrets and will fill them in later).
    Ship stats: Stable with all systems running concurrently.
    • Mass: 1,495
    • Size: L x H x W - 89m x 25m x 37m
    • Power: 1,408,216 Capacity - 331,403 e/sec (Probably overkill)
    • Thrust: 2,465; Ratio to mass of 1.6 with a Max Speed of 161. (Needs more!)
    • Shields: 108,804 Capacity - 3,410 s/sec (Adequate or too much?)
    • Structure: 829,470
    • Armor: 515,250
    I'm quite sure this is not configured in any kind of optimal way for it's class and the internal systems will be shuffled over time. I was unsure how much of any given system would be needed so I made sure to throw them all in. The interior space of the hull was more than I could conceivably fill, so there is still extra room for additional systems or RP space.

    I have included a minimal walkway from the two exterior doors into the mildly armored core room, which contains the faction block and the primary system modules. (AMC Computers are just under the ramp). Each entrance has a storage container that is linked to the rail docker for easy transfer of materials (looted from pirates or enemies) to a docked station, as well as a medical kit. Several cameras allow for multiple viewpoints.
