    The Sybox TypeI MkI:

All Sybox types have a different purpose. Type0 has spaces for customization, Type1 focuses on implementing basic systems, TypeII includes and supports jump-drive and quick acceleration, TypeIII can perma-jam and can cloak for a few minutes at a time with almost instant power recharge afterwards, TypeIIII sacrifices shields for more power cap and thrust, and the Passage is re-configured to fit a passageway through the center.

Also, please don't just build a giant cube... Add-on hull and whatnot to make something graceful.

This is awesome. I typically use alot of the docks ships and I wanted to try using a shell but I find myself unsure of how the grouping goes. So my question is how does a pattern benefit better than a cube of the same thing? Or does different spacing not do that. Would it be best to take one of these and copy and paste it inside the ship or would it not benefit extra because of that. Lets say a 1m block ship with the thrusters docked so we need weapon systems, power shield and aux. Armor is already in place. Using these different designs whats your approach? Thanks! Also looking at the content you have submitted there seems to be a missing v2 version of the first ship you posted. I would like to see that revamped! Thanks o/
While not something I would use myself, I think this is a great idea. It could be a helpful resource for new players or anyone trying to fill in a large ship or station who isn't bothered by a small drop in efficiency.
