the Sojourner-class dreadnoughts were the last in a line of first-order warships stretching to the Forerunner's earliest interstellar expansion and were the pinnacle of Forerunner naval technology.
At 300 m height, the Sojourner isn't the largest ship, but very cheap to produce yet very powerful and manouverable.
The ship can be used by itself, or multiple of them can be used to form a Dragoon-formation together with a Forerunner battle station (that I have yet to make).
As for firepower the Sojourner relies on 3 weapons: 2 clusters of sniper beams with EM-effect, 12 groups of lock-on missiles with heat-effect and the torsion driver. When I came up with the idea to make this ship in Starmade I wanted to make the Torsion Driver as realistic as possible with a pull-effect beam that dragged the enemy ship into the field of a powerful damage pulse. Since pulses were removed from the game entirely by now, I had to improvise and made it a beam-missile combo with kinetic-effect instead.
I hope this ship will help you to defend the Mantle of Responsibility, Forerunner...
