Shrike-2 light fighter

    Shrike-2 light fighter Mk4

Based on the Shrike light fighter, the Shrike-2 is a bigger and better, featuring a brand-new technology using detachable weapon pods to customize it for the operation at hand. The ship's equipped for permanent jammer, also has a scanner for scouting runs. Decent shielding for its size and advanced armor protect the systems from enemy fire. Inner ship remotes and wireless logic let the pilots operate the 2 external pods in flight mode. Currently, there are 2 pods available: a fast-firing Ion beam pod for weakening stronger enemy shielding, and an unguided explosive missile pod for bombardment. The Shrike-2 comes equipped with a beam pod under the left wing and a missile pod under the right wing.
Without pods, the spacecraft relies on its Overdrive machine guns and lock-on explosive missiles.

    Stats:
    Mass: 197 (with pods installed)
    Thrust: 380.3
    Length/width/height: 24/29/11
    Shields c/r: 8055/264
    Power c/r: 50K/27719

Weapons: Overdrive machine gun 100% cannon support, 4x37 damage/shot
Missile/beam/explosive missiles, 66.7% beam support, 100% explosive, 6x2250 damage (can fire 2 at a time)

    Systems:
    Jammer
    Scanner
    2x External weapon pod docks

Looks nice, although the hull is a tiny bit fat. Will have a look at those pods and their usability. Love the concept of customizable weapons.
Love this, just curious how are the pods used? Trying to learn how to make my own but when selected they dont do anything.

Thanks! The pods each have wireless logic modules, and there are 2 inner ship remotes also each connected to wireless logic blocks on the fighter. You dock a pod, connect its wireless module to the one next to the rail it's docked to, and you can operate the modules from flight mode from the fighter.
love the look the feel and God shes beautiful Thank you keep making awesome ships. :)
