“Knife in the darkness” Assault bordering craft for all raides and hijackings
The Star skean named after an ancient thieves dagger is through and through a pirating vessel serving the shattered moons fleet as its principal boarding vessel and loot hauler. Like many pirating vessels the ship is fast with an emphasis on survivability and storage capacity. This vessel is intended to work in conjunction with a raiding feet carrying assault teams within it to make the final strike on any immobilized merchant vessels by blasting a hole into the haul and launching the assault teams to overwhelm the stunned defenders. To complete its task the Star Skean is equipped with dual light artillery pieces and a dual heavy missile launcher system able to punch through the haul of even the strongest ships. Being the designated loot carrier this craft is built with three spacious cargo hulls as well as having an emphasis on survivability having 500k shields and an array of ams and anti-fighter turrets. Equipped with warp drive, scanners and a large thruster system it is very mobile able to follow the fleet anywhere for deep raiding operations. The Star Skean is specialized for assault, boarding and loot hauling, but is also well suited for alpha strikes, light artillery bombardment, reconnaissance, anti-missile, anti-fighter, base assault, and merchant hunting
