Quantum Pack

    Quantum Pack V1.4

UPDATE: Quantum 15 is now in the pack!

The Quantum series of vessels are a series of heavy frigates, with many still in service in the Trident Industries faction, and built by me and
crazyf22raptor. The original has gone through many refits until, six months later, the 'perfect' Quantum was built. It was the most common ship in the Trident armada until the introduction of the Hyperion corvette.

But now YOU can own the ENTIRE SERIES of these now-declassified heavy frigates and use them in battle yourself!

The pack includes 16 variations on the Quantum, and will continue to expand as more historical vessels are found and newer vessels are developed.

Quantum 1 - The original, baseline Quantum, created solely to destroy a rogue Dreadnought (another ship built by crazy). While never being used for its intended role, it proved itself time and again with its withering firepower.

Quantum 2 - The Series 2 variant. This upgrade includes swarmer missiles, stop beams and stronger shielding, designed to fight multiple foes alone. It was developed in retaliation to the enemy stealing a Q1 and using it against us.

Quantum 3 - The SR3 variant, an upgrade on the SR2 (Q2). My modifications increased shield capacity by a further 100 000, and increased jumpdrive charge meant the ship could charge jump faster too. This is the longest-serving Quantum variant, being in service for almost 3 months, and well-liked by its pilots.

Quantum 4 - After a Quantum (Q1) was stolen from the old Trident, we recovered this modified variant, sporting additional decorative elements and dual stop beams akin to the SR2. A ship of similar configuration was later used against crazy by the enemy, and killed a Q2, piloted by crazy, with ease.

Quantum 5 - After the defection of the enemy his ship (Q4) was repossessed and modified to represent the might of the recovered Trident, with a new blue paintjob and cleaning-up. It was subsequently used against the enemy yet again when he attempted another assault.

Quantum 6 - Also called The Mighty Pigeon. The former flagship of the Trident (a Q1) was given a thorough makeover, adding some interior and a small hangar. And a BAR!!!! However its main distinguishing mark is the pigeon statue on the top :) The vessel was used primarily for trade and diplomacy yet retained the deadly weapons of the original.

Quantum 7 - A minor modification of Q1, it served as the basis for the new Mk2 series of Quantums. Its stripe pattern was used by all subsequent Quantums.

Quantum 8 - The first Mk2 Quantum, derived from Q7. A complete rebuild of all systems resulted in stronger everything. Shields were already quite high but the Mk2 had more than all other variants, barring three. Stronger weapons and better jump charge completed the mix. In addition the hull was fully smoothed out with the pentas and tetras, something we had meant to do for almost two months prior.

Quantum 9 - The Quantum Mk2, SR2. More tinkering resulted in a structure akin to Q4 with its vertically oriented engines, but had additional shielding again, getting as high as 600 000.

Quantum 10 - A prototype that never made it into production. This version had the strongest weapons and shields of them all, with over twice the firepower in the beams alone, but the destruction of the original Trident prevented it from gaining widespread use, and only one was made. It never saw combat. Always improved however, the base variant is made available, as the military version is still classified.

Quantum 11 - A one-off modification to Q3 called the Alpha. This vessel was designed to defend the Trident against rising foes, but was sadly destroyed by a heatseeker blast. It temporarily served as Trident flagship prior to its (and the faction's) demise.

Quantum 12 - The 'Evil Quantum', a quick change-up of Q9. A vessel given to high-ranking pilots of the former Trident prior to its demise, the red striping (a change from Trident's traditional blue) showed battlefield dominance and true skill.

Quantum 13 - A version of Q9 with a full interior and basic hull plating, sadly never finished. I poured my heart and soul into crafting the interior. Systems are incomplete but the interior is all done.

    (Screenshot shows bridge of Q13)

Quantum 14 - The latest in the venerable series the Jupiter type Q14 has over 200 000 additional shields over the next strongest, Q10, and new beams designed to quickly melt hull plating and systems.

Quantum 9.1 - As well as matching the firepower and strength of the SR2 and 3 easily, it is a fast, nimble and powerful one-off vessel which later formed the Q10.

Quantum 15 - The fastest Quantum yet. With an 8 second jump charge, a new Trident technology, holographic armor, and the classic Quantum maneuverability, it is a devastating vessel with an emphasis on speed and jump drive.

I hope these vessels prove useful for other factions or solo players out there. Your faction may use these vessels on servers, provided credit is given to me and
    crazyf22raptor.

Amazing Ships! As a novice just breaking in, I hope you don't mind if a *ahem* gain inspiration from your style. I'll never imitate though, that's just not my style.

Beautiful! Love the color schemes, and 1 is so simplistic that I love it. perfect balance between too many details and simplistic.
Id just like to add that this has really improved my building skills and. ill keep updating the prototype because its the perfect quantum of the lot in my eyes.
altogether there good ships for taking down things bigger that its self.
