I recently did a quick poll of which fighter variant should I release. There were four options (ignoring the original):
It looks identical to my fighter, but don't be fooled: Its weapons are completely revised for combat against larger ships. The rapid-fire lasers were replaced with fast-firing SRMs (Missile with Cannon slave), and the lock-on LRMs were replaced by hyperbeams (Beam with Pulse slave).
Though tiny, these things are definitely on the vicious side. If you see a battalion heading for your flagship, you're in trouble.
LORE: The FI-V01 "ArchTrident" is a modified "Trident" meant to contend with larger capital ships. Its weapons are fairly ineffective against other fighters, but slower-moving battleships and frigates will yield against the short-range missiles and hyperbeams of the "ArchTrident".

- Elite Variant - Advanced Armor
- Bomber Variant - Weapon change
- FTL Variant - Jump-capable
