Oberth Class SHELL

    Oberth Class SHELL 1.0

1:1 scale Oberth Class starship from Star Trek III, The Search for Spock. Modeled after the USS Grissom. Contains two USD-1 compatible docking ports for your convenience.

For your non-convenience, you have to take a spacewalk from the saucer section to the secondary hull, if you insist on getting inside.

Find a filled, useful one here: USS Grissom

This was built from a shell that I obtained here: Momentously's 1:1 Star Trek fleet (no interiors) Minecraft Project

If you decide to use this for your own building needs and upload your creation, I am pretty much requiring you to give me credit for the original, and to link back to the original. Thank you.

I've been wondering how long it would take for the funny-lookin Oberth-class to make an appearance on the 'dock.

Glad that it's true to form, including the requirement of "take a transporter to the lower hull".

Fortunately, we now have Transporters to do that with.

The other option I considered was to add in some Jefferies tubes in the pylons, although they would either look out-of-place or would mean that the pylons would have to be thicker in quite a few places.
