LSD Gryllos 2_c

This is an alternate version of the Gryllos mk2. It has a more dedicated anti-capital ship loadout. As such it carries 4x machine guns in favor of shotguns. Being more direct it helps deal with unanticipated fast large ships.

Fast moving large ships were unexpectedly strong against shotguns at this time(tested 10/3/15). As this could be a foreseeable issue, I am releasing this rapid fire version which does significantly better against larger vessels.

Note that both versions do exceptionally well against other drones and slower capitals, this version however does better against Faster(near to 1:1+ thrust) capitals. If you encounter these speedy beasts please use this version for a quicker* fight.

*difference is 10 minutes vs 32 minutes on the same target.

The new mk2 Gryllos features better stats across the board with a revamped exterior and much needed re-balancing of the weapons systems. In addition it also boasts better thrust for streamlined maneuvers and combat orienting.

This new model is a marked improvement over the previous edition with Rail docking now supported, as well as an upgrade to standard armor.
