    1. I moved the flare pod to the port and starboard mounts of the engineering hull. During a practice duel I noticed that my own AMS was accidently killing flare.

    2. Minor improvement to the forward port and starboard extended mount AMS.

    3. Changed the guard rail on the ladder going below decks to a less realistic and non OSHA approved setup that works much better in game!

    At this point, I'm pretty happy with this ship as is, as an AI fleet fire support unit it worked fantastically during a cooperative anti-pirate station op supporting a pair of GXN variant Tempest Light Cruisers piloted by myself and Captain Garland on the GenXNova server a couple nights ago.

    Now if only they'd get that turret bug fixed. I still have 20+ turrets drifting about that I need to find and clean up....

    Obviously, as I learn more and SM changes, I'll go back and update my ships as needed.

    I started working on the recon version that I mentioned in my replies last night. I changed direction, and the recon version is going to be better setup for long range missile dueling one on one.

    However, I took my initial plans for a cannon heavy variant and forwarded them to the engineering debt of Areas-Boltech Industries and now have an assault variant in the pipeline as well....
    I added 3 more cameras above the bridge and in the EW mast, swapped out the two forward Mk8 Heavy Phalanx for a Mk12 Quad Flare Pod (4 Missiles, 4 Cannon, 4 Overdrive), and added a 7th bed to match the duty stations.

    As a bonus, the flare pod would make an excellent anti personnel weapon :P

    KSN FG-2 would be the original design, and KSN FG-2A refers to the slightly improved variant.
