You are right. Its somewhat close to 1:3 scale. I find the 250m - 350m to be the sweet spot for Starmade ships, which would, IMO, be the cruiser average size.
All my ships that are "ported"from other games or movies have some personal touch. I believe that some angles and details are not possible to por into starmade. Eve Online Turrets are one of these examples, others, like the dragon fins of the drake, adds more imersion and some variety.
I was a month into the game when the Drake came out... and now I get that giddy feeling of want again looking at it in starmade done in such an articulate way. love the dragon scale dorsal fins.
