KDI "Silverback" Missile Boat

    KDI "Silverback" Missile Boat 1.0

    Foreword:
Dont worry about the emtpy space, nor attempt to kill that space unless converting the vessel to basic or standard armours. This is because currently, AI will refuse to strafe at a decent speed if they exceed a certain weight. This in turn drastically improves its survivability at range as AI cannon fire will consistently miss its mark while it volleys highly accurate lock on missiles at its enemies. Also, its longest range missile isnt its most powerful one, and may back off past that range to try to use its longest rang, longest reload rocket.

With that out the way, MOAR SHIP! This time something different than my spamming of Havoc II-frames.

Without further ado, this is the KDI "Silverback" missile boat, similar in design to the Ridgeback as seen on my fleet submission ( Napther_Fleet_Submission_1 )
I needed a name that was similar to "ridgeback" since the ships both looked like the same build type. A friend suggested SS Harambe, and so I remembered "Silverback" is a thing.

The Silverback is a "light" missile boat, built to volley lots of rockets, and defend itself at closer ranges with its light Cannon-Cannon-Pulse under its nose, just behind its scanner/nose docker.

Stats: starmade-screenshot-0350.png total weapons size is 3300 modules approx including effects.

The silverback is "roughly" twice as effective as the Chaosweaver bombers, provided its in full range to use its weapons. Its also a lot more survivable, and has more interior for medium-range missions. Ironically it also can move faster thanks to its heavier engines, and less strain on its reactor for weapons. (Which is the similar one in the Ridgeback)

Because of its heavy reliance on missiles, it has a loading system for the cRockets

its also got ample crew accommodation for 2 crew, and up to 4 if beds are shared.

Thanks, the fleet I created made it into the default game, so more of these orange + Grey/dark ships will be seen around.
