The Irongate is the first in line of the NDRS SDI (Satellite Defense Initiative), a program to create small cheap ships that will defend new-comers of servers from asshole griefers/trolls that devestate planets.
This satellite has basic shields and power regen, but boasts 4 Sentinel AMS turrets. With very small thrust, and a rail docker, this sat will need a transport ship of any kind to take it from its construction spot/shipyard to its orbit. Litter these sats around a planet, or even a space station and watch as missiles are shot down like flies because of a network of Irongates. More Def Sats coming soon.
Basically, its a hull with super basic shields and regen that has 4 AMS strapped on to it.
