    HMS Diamond Pickaxe 1.0

My very first community upload, also the very first build that I'm even slightly happy with.

I'm a relatively new player with, according to steam, 136 hours in the game. This is the first build that I've done that I actually like, my earlier builds fell short due to a lack of understanding the game.

The HMS Diamond Pickaxe is made with each 'block' being 15 x 15 x 15 resulting in an overall size of 195 x 195 x 15.

This ship makes pretty quick work of asteroids with a large array of salvage beams combined with cannon barrels which can constantly fire. The beams are emitted from the front portion of the 'axe'. Because the array is much higher than it is wide it is best used by swiping left to right opposed to up and down.

The ship can travel at over 300m/s, and has a listed cargo hold of 6.2m units (contained within the handle). There is still some available space inside which will probably go towards improving the jump-drive charge time.

The interior is extremely sparse with no aesthetics. There are docking doors on either side, as seen here. The ship core is located in the same 'block' as the doors, so you can figure out where an anchor needs to be to load the design into a shipyard.

In its current form the ship is mostly finished, save the jump-drive improvement mentioned above. My future plan for this ship is to turn it into a mining drone carrier, where the drones make up the front of the 'axe' where the salvage beams are currently.

So, I'd love to know what people think about my creation. I designed this ship on the lazyGamerz server GenXnova.

I'd like to thank fac00 and RoAnnon for all their help teaching me about StarMade.

Great simple design that works well. The novelty aspect is a big plus.
