This is the venerable HeldTech_Briggadier originally created by Ferdiheld, finally modernized. All turrets have been upgraded to the new rail standard thanks to a turret adapter, and the hangar bay now includes an automatic rail docking system. A rudimentary jump drive and shield-rechargers have been added as well.
If you're a fighter pilot, select your rail docker and point at the docking indicator just past the hangar bay forcefield. You'll automatically land, and the hangar rail will direct your fighter to the nearest open bay. Each bay has a simple logic circuit; if a bay is occupied, a docked fighter or shuttle will move on to the next open bay. When a ship un-docks, a bay is marked 'open', and the rail now points to the open bay.
I wanted to keep this refit as close to Ferdiheld's original design as possible, so the only additions are the turret adapters, jump drive, shield rechargers, and the hangar bay rails and logic. No other weapons or effect modules have been added (also, this thing is chock-full of power reactors and shield capactitators, I doubt you could squeeze anything else in here without seriously changing the design). In the future I may upgrade the turrets or add torpedoes to the ship's main batteries.
