Harald&Lewis Pioneer Container-Vessel [WIP] 2017-04-26

With this ship I want to continue the narrative of my transportation themed ships.

Once the ship is done I will edit this page to be a propper introduction of the vessel. Sadly I currently have no time to make any real progress, but still wanted to share what I have made so far.

I am experimenting with bigger sjips and still am not quite happy with the exterior so far. I am very proud of my interior work until this point.

(Side; the containers I build for my previous ship will be loaded from the side [2 in each slot on both sides])


(I plan to add blastdoors and rail-automation logic once I have build the cargo-control-room)


(The motivation behind the floor is, that the pipes should work as some sort of rolling support for the top mounted countainers; the containers are accessible on the side - inbetween the hazardblock-pillars is a little hallway)

(here you can see a bit of that hallway - on the right is a ladder that will eventually lead to maintanace-shafts)

(There will also be enough room on the inside to stack containers, that whole mechanism is still to be build)

(The top of the ship can be opened up for further access to the containers)

(As I stated before, I am not very satisfied with the hull; ofcourse there is still alot missing. For example the ams turrets that will be mounted on the upper-sides)

I hope you like the ship in its current state, and can maybe get some inspiration from my interiour. I am pretty proud of the material changes I pulled of on the container-deck. Any feedback is welcome and apreciated.
