“A turret for any job” A very light defense turret purpose built for smaller ships.
The turrets of the LSPC Navy are organized into three classification (light , medium, heavy ) that are subdivided into three weapon types ( cannon, beam, missile )that are also each subdivided into three turret size levels ( level 1, level 2, level 3) . In total, there are at least 30 plausible turrets that can be equipped by the ships of the LSPC navy including the planetary guns. The Generation 2 light turret level 1 turret pack include all three weapon types (cannon, beam , missile) in at least 10 different color configurations each. The light level 1 turrets are among the smallest turrets available to the LSPC ships intended to be fitted on ship sizes ranging from medium bombers to frigates, but can certainly be applied on other larger ships to ward off light threats. The turret itself has a high arc of fire and can deal at least 240 dps, enough to handle fighter size threats and able to survive return fire due to its high armor capacity and minimal shielding. The L1S may not be the most powerful things in the LSPC navy but their strength relies in their versatility and light weight providing essential protection for the smaller craft of LSPC.
