    I do see why you think it needs a salvage system but please bear in mind that this is an exploration ship not a miner or a salvage ship.
    I am going to build a dedicated mining/salvage ship at some point.

    Vertical ships are all the rage these days, and everyone and their dog has one.
    However, this one really stands out with it's interesting and creative design. I agree the turrets need work, but that can be overlooked when the ship itself is literally the meaning of beauty.

    This is a ship with a very innovative design. A real own personality. It’s a ship any astronaut won’t mind being seen in.

    I had however a bit of trouble getting into the core. The force field would activate and you would get stuck. Soma additional thought might also be directed at its defensive qualities. The current turret system would not efficiently defend against any target because of its restricted movement.

    All in all a design I’ll keep my eye on for any future improvements.
