ESF Salmon Class

    ESF Salmon Class MkIII

    Salmon Class update here!

From now on we will no longer produce the MkIII A variant
(missile main gun) because of several reasons...mainly because we don't want our facilities to explode anymore.
Instead we introduce the PAW-3000, a Photon Accelerator Weapon.
It does consume as much energy per shot, as was needed to produce one of the nuclear charges that were used prior to this update but thanks to the Salmon's super safe* cold fusion reactors you can spam the red button as you please.

The PAW-3000 easily melts up to 3 layers of hull in one shot.
Everything behind the hull -if hit directly- will bevaporized immediately.

    * safety measured according to galactic standards
** we might actually still do that

    Greetings customers!
Today Eisenstar Fleetsystems is turning in the overhauled version of the Salmon Class heavy destroyer. Due to recent updates in schemadine system components the turrets as well as the docking system had to be revised.

    • The railgun turret was scrapped and replaced by it's successor model: the Subjugator II. Damage and range have been increased and it doesn't look as laughably tiny as the old one.
    • Flak turrets were doubled and replaced with newer versions with better coverage. (+ additional rear-facing turret added)
    • AMS turrets removed and replaced with two Sparrow twin barrel ams-units (now oly 2, but with better coverage).
    More splendid Upgrades:
    • Added broadside swarmer missiles
    • Added USD-1 docking ports with airlocks on both sides.
    • Escape pods upgraded for improved usability and cozy travelling.
    • Visually refined hull and interior.*
    • Free set of F73 Falcon fighters (variant A, B and C) included for testing

Just like with the F65 Canard we decided not to release any MkII at all because all the changes the Salmon went through before MkIII would make up for quite a good/very bad MkII on their own.**
With the Salmon Class MkIII we supply you with our most competent combat platform.
