    ESF Salmon Class MkIII


    Eisenstar Fleetsystems Inc. is back and glad to present our first major new-gen warship, the Salmon Class heavy destroyer.
    After a long period of drafting and development our engineers managed to finish what we intend to become the backbone of our fleet setups.
    As a destroyer the Salmon Class is meant to be able to fulfill a multitude of tasks independently thanks to it's variety of weapon systems and the ability to harbor and operate up to six fighters.*


    As always we tried to test the deadlyness and racorousness of it's weapon systems but unfortunately our trainee division was't as enthusiastic as expected -
    so we payed some pirates to shoot at it and looked what happened.
    Apparently they didn't bear up long enough for us to gain sufficient results but from the loot they "loaned" to us, we bought some more calculators and now we're sure the Salmon is pretty deadly. And some guys even said their calculators gave them "1337-deadly".


    This is most probably due to the two powerful bow-mounted main guns
    that we are really proud of.
    One of them emits a higly energetic plasma projectile that disrupts enemy shields and the other one launches a high explosive
    nuclear smart charge** to structurally decimate the target.


    Although not the greatest in size, the deck-mounted twin railgun is without doubt the Salmon's signature feature.
    Dubbed "the Subjugator" by our ballistics engineers it delivers two magnetically accelerated superheated projectiles that easily blast through the thickest of armor directly into the heart of the enemy vessel.


    Despite the Salmon's allround combat capability it features an extensive
    interior including crew quarters***, escape pod bays, hangar, corridors, conference room, operation center, canteen and more.

    Thanks a lot. It's supposed to be something between Enterprise and Rebel Transporter. Good to see that it apparently fits the astheatics of a frigate or similar.
    I really like the design, but there are some little Things i've to say:

    - i don't really see through when or why the Gravity activates
    - i stuck about 5 times in the ground while exploring the Ship
    - the EscapePot stuck in the Hangar instead of being pushed out, all time i tested it.

    Thank you for reviewing! The gravity might still need some adjustments. depending on where you enter there are different types of systems that activate gravity but still if it doesnt work there are multiple modules accessible all around to activate gravity manually.

    The escape pods don't work. I know. I don't know why but it's since the centre-of-mass-update. Even pods with a perfectly centered mass get stuck at launch.

    But I really don't see how you can get stuck in the ground. Never heard about that...

    loved it but I sadly I have to say only thing I didn't like was the Anti Missile Beams just cuz they don't seem to work as well as Cannons but loved the escape pods the hanger and I really liked the interior but I will also ask if you will update this ship as well?

    I also just noticed the problem with the anti missile beams after I uploaded the ship. Due to the rails update I have to rework all my turrets and add docking modules to all my previous uploads.
    You can expect that all ships I uploaded already will get updated :).
