Adimo Lancer-Class Light Frigate
The Lancer-Class, long overdue, is finally out. Given a major system overhaul, this ship is perfectly suited as a low-cost (at just under 10 million) yet efficient combat craft. Packing 2 groups of heat-seeking missiles and 4 groups of lock-ons for anti-fighter offence/defence, it is also heavily shielded for a ship its size. While not the fastest at taking down its target, it will do the job with distinction (it should be able to hold its own against~ 7-8 fighters at a time). However, while it does sport an overdrive system which increases its speed by 16.7% (taking its max speed to 87), it does not come with a warp drive.
