This little monsters was born out of me wanting to help someone out. It isn't just one drone but 5. 1 Machine Gun Drone for the Core, 2 Beam Drones for the wings, and 2 top and bottom vertical nuke missile launcher drones for the tail section.
At first I wanted to make it as thin and cheep as I could but than decided to go for overkill. The Pirate version is simply in an active state on spawn so that the different parts will break away after a few seconds. Currently these drones have no push pulse to make them go far enough to avoid clustering so that'll get fixed down the road a bit.
Watch out though since each drone fragments into a total of 5 drones you don't need as many of the combine form to deal with enemies. Currently there is no premade rack for them and I'll add that later but each drone can be stacked on top of one another so all you'll need is the first drone on the bottom docked to whatever is going to launch them.
These are about to take on most ships of frigate class for less. However it will only win a battle if there is something other than the drones themselves in play when against anything that knows how to fight.
1 stack of 10 of these will split into a total of 50 drones and in some experiments 2 stacks are more than enough to lag this toaster of a computer within the sector. Not sure how badly large number of these released could lag an area but you should at worst only need a stack or two of these to tie up players for some time.

Keep in mind that the way the docks on the core are setup one side is right side up when docking and the other is upside down.

If anyone has ideas or changes in the meantime let me know. This drone is still in need of being fully finished so any ideas on how to make it better and more lethal would be handy.
