The Sun blazer turret is one of the most effective beam turrets produced by the Yada Corporations. Sporting average armor, great shielding for its size, and twin omni-destructo rays fitted with an ion module, it tears through hull and shielding like no other turret before it. It is great for medium to short range defense, and for small targets.
Another status update on the Pegasus, I finished the side plating, and I am almost done with exterior detailing. Here's the entire thing as of right now:
I just finished the design concept for my power conduits in the engineering department. Probably would also be great for disguising logic connections as well...
I based this off of the conduits in the trailer video.
The type one shuttle is the standardized transport that is released to the public. Employing powerful thrusters, and a light frame, the type one can reach speeds up to 250 blocks/second. One of the most popular features of the type one is its interior, featuring walking space, lighting, and 3 block high ceilings. The type one is not meant for combat, but features a small beam cannon and a light shield grid for defense. The type one was built with speed and economy in mind, only costing 190,000 credits. It is up to scratch, utilizing slave systems and both recharge and shield capacitors.
Today I updated the HSS Phoenix. It's weapon systems are now the same as they were before the update, and the shields are fine. The biggest change was in the turrets.
Changes:
Updated missile system
Updated AMC array
Updated shields
Increased thrust
Added 4 beam turrets for point defense, and 4 long range tractor beam turrets the get things within the range of the point defense.
Following the destruction of several type I shuttles in a small skirmish with some pirates, Yada corporations decided to launch a new and upgraded (and slightly bigger) shuttle. The type 2 features weaponry that can actually do damage (twin mini Sun-blazer arrays), more shielding, increased armor, and a top speed of 200 blocks/s. The type II also features a small distress light pulsar and airlocks.
The HSS Lillypad is not really a ship at all, its the first station offered by the Yada corporations! Sporting 18 turrets, medium shielding, and two medium docking platforms for small to medium small fighters and heavy fighters; the Lillypad is truly a multipurpose station. The HSS Lillypad is mainly used for sector defense, planetary defense, a rest stop, and a meeting place. For safety, the Lillypad also comes with 4 included escape pods located in the main section of the station. It also comes equipped with small thrusters for getting to places.
Medium to heavy shielding
Large interior
4 conference rooms
18 turrets ( 8 duel barreled AMC's with salvage lasers, 8 single barreled AMC's, 2 large AMC snipers)
Well lit interior and exterior
4 escape pods
2 medium docking platforms

I really should mess with logic a bit (the logic blocks). That being said, I did make a logic cruise control. (make a clock, connect each block in clock to a push computer, connect appropriate amount of push effect blocks. It's pretty slow though)
EDIT: That sounds like a blog post. You made me want to toy with logic more, I don't suddenly want to logic.
After observing what people actually want out of their ships, and combining that with a small wave of laziness, Yada corporations decided to create the very first logic driven ship, the type III. The type III utilized the hull, weapons, thrust, shielding, interior, and power of the type II, while replacing much of the exterior hull with logic driven push engines. This allows the type III to fly forward in-defiantly at the flick of switch, without a pilot or AI.
Max speed on autopilot: 81.5 b/s (when space friction is at 0.01)
After the dismal failure of the HSS Recycler class from the huge cost, ugly frame, and immense lag; Yada Corporations decided to create a small, lightweight, reasonably priced, and maneuverable salvage corvette. At less than 50 block long, it still manages to remove over 50 blocks per second. The HSS Burrower features a small interior, airlocks, 21 salvage-o-matic groups, and a small AMC cannon for light defense.
