Worth it to Return?

As someone who has had a lot of love for starmade in the past, I found the changes for power 2.0 to be too much to handle, and left the game for a bit-as it was no longer any semblance of what it originally was. I would love to rekindle my love for the game, but is it worth it during this stage of development? Or should I wait longer before giving the game another shot?

I would insist you to wait as well.. I recently tried to get back into it with both the latest official and latest dev build. What i found was a game that was less playable and more frustrating than at any time in this games history (which is saying a lot).. Perhaps that will be alleviated in time. Perhaps this is all adding up to a bigger picture that i cannot see yet. But this is certainly not a good time to jump back into it by any measure as everything seems to be constantly changing, all while hardly anything is working as it should..

Wait until weapons update is finished. Around 2 more months I guess.

If you are more interested in playing than in testing, probably wait until Autumn. It may be playable by then, but right now it's still mostly up on blocks. By Autumn the weapon balance should be at least functional enough to appear in the official version, and the galaxy update will probably be in some stage of dev build.
