Planets are supposed to feel like home. But they are nothing but a disc of rock within an atmosphere. Fitting wildlife for planets would make the galaxy less empty.
Lizards, snakes and scorpions on desert planets, mammals on earth-like planets or bear/ice troll-like creatures on ice planets. An NPC pirate or trader would also look nice. This game has potential, don't reduce it to mariokart in space.

There is a Creature and Critter system planned :p and the Groundwork is finished I think? o -o Mainly just waiting on the LUA support methinks.

Creatures are gonna be Procedural as well I think? Being assigned Random abilities and such. Anywho, it is Coming :p Just like everything else that would make this game interesting o -o

I'm more looking forward for breeding creatures, so i'll have flying, enormous, shooting missiles from mouth dragons.
