What happened to the F1 Window?

I used to use the F1 window to see how long my jump drive would take to charge. This window was an accurate recording of the pop-up messages you get on the right side of your screen.

Is there another way to see this window that doesn't rely on F1 ?

Use the radial menu, access your data pad and whammo. I think that's what it is now at least, I know that it is in the radial menu, but I'm to lazy to open the game to actually figure it out.
