Weapons help!

I'm sure this wont be the first time you guys see me in here today. So i am trying to set up cannons on my ship. I placed the computer down, with the arrow pointing in the direction that i want the barrel to fire. Then i go to laying down the barrels, of course pointed in the same direction as the computer since i want them to fire that way. The line is green from the computer to the barrel when i place it.


But when i go into flight mode, it says no weapon connected to entry point. What did i miss?

Are you connecting the correct module to the correct computer type? Like are you actually using the cannon computer and cannon barrel?

having the same problem, yes i am using the right type

Did you guys go to the weapons menu "t" and move the cannon computer down to your hotbar ?
